Beth DeSombre, Susan Levine, and Zoe Mulford - 7 p.m.

55 Nicholas Road
Framingham Massachusetts 01701

Price: $12

She's a Harvard graduate with a guitar. She writes award-winning songs
with unforgettable stories. She has a beautifully distinctive voice
and a quirky wit. She stands under 5'4" in her sock feet. Which
songwriter is this? All three of them!

Beth DeSombre writes "smart and uplifting songs, focusing on the quiet
meaning of ordinary life" (Sing Out! Magazine) and teaches about
environmental politics.

Susan Levine has "some of the wistful knowledge of Dolly Parton at her
best." (Boston Globe) She is also a music therapist and mother of two
little boys.

Zoe Mulford joins these two Boston-based artists from her current home
in England. She writes "perfectly crafted" songs (Washington Post) and
plays "Blackbird" on clawhammer banjo.

On the bill with me are Jane Fallon, Frank Critelli, along with host Lisa Martin. And we're given an assignment by the previous month's audience: a topic on which we all have to write a song. So come hear great songwriting and new songs from all of us.

Lower Falls House Concert

Co-bill with Alicia McGovern - 7 p.m. (potluck at 6)

Newton Lower Falls Massachusetts lfhconcerts@gmail.com
Price: $15 suggested donation

I met Alicia McGovern when she and I were both finalists in the Mountain Music Festival Songwriting contest, and fell in love with her music. She went on to win the Dave Carter songwriting festival shortly thereafter -- she's a real rising star in the folk world, with a gorgeous voice and beautifully-crafted songs. I couldn't be more excited about sharing a show with her at one of the best house concert series around. Come eat yummy food and then listen to both of us play.
